I received an email, correctly addressed to me from Santander alerting me to the fact that due to them detecting unusual activity on my account they had restricted access to my account. This email also included a link to them to correct matters.
Being a sceptic through and through I went to my account directly but not using the provided link, to find that my account was as normal sitting quietly almost empty but without restriction or unusual activity.
Yet another scam but a convincing looking one.
